A photo of the Poplar Creek Public Library display case featuring our "Highlights From Our Local History Collection" display. The display was located at the Streamwood location of the library for the months of September and October in 2024.

PCPLD has been digitizing photographs and documents from the Streamwood Park District and their Hoosier Grove Museum collection. PCPLD has also been digitizing records from the Hanover Park Historical Committee collection. We have been adding them to our Digital History Collection. These items and photographs were borrowed from the Streamwood Park District and Hanover Park Historical Committee.

The preservation of the Streamwood collection was supported in part by an award from the Illinois State Historical Records Advisory Board, through funding from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission, National Archives and Records Administration.
